Who can participate?

This contest is open to all young photographers between the ages of 12 and 16, who are residents of Grand Paris, France. The jury will be looking for a series of photographs that are united by the announced theme. The deadline will be announced shortly

What is the theme?

If you’re between 12-16 years old, please submit a series of 4 photographs that capture “A Day in My Life”.

What can be submitted?

You are required to submit a series of 4 images. The work must be exclusively conceived and executed by young photographers without any external assistance (except for technical support and educational guidance). The authors, respectively the parents, grant the organiser the right to use the selected works within the scope of the event and to exhibit them.

Judging Criteria:

  • The photo series must be taken between 2023 and 2024.
  • By a series, we mean 4 photographs united by a common idea, telling the story of one day for participants aged 12-16 (“a day in my life”).
  • Has the theme described in the series description and title been revealed?
  • Aesthetics, technical aspects, and originality of the images. While the jury members will primarily focus on evaluating the expression of the images and their personalities, technical proficiency will not be disregarded, as it is considered an integral part of the evaluation.

What can I win?

The winners of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes will receive a series of masterclasses led by photography specialists. They will print their works on Hahnemuhle paper in the fine art printing studio D-Images, and they will also benefit from a portfolio review by their mentors.

Is there a fee to participate?

No, this contest is completely free to enter.

Who is organizing this contest?

The Dreamers master program for young talents is organized by RÊVE Association, which is dedicated to supporting emerging photographers and fostering their growth.
