Anne Lise Broyer

Anne-Lise Broyer has been pursuing a photographic practice for over 25 years that can be summarized as an experience of literature through the eye, intimately linking reading and the emergence of an image, writing and photography. She approaches her series in the same way a writer handles language, but in a language that is spoken and understood by the eye. She was awarded the Nièpce Prize – Gens d’Images 2024.

Anne-Lise Broyer has published about fifteen books with Filigranes, Verdier, and Loco publishers. She regularly exhibits her work in France and abroad.
