Emilia Genuardi

Emilia Genuardi is a specialist in contemporary photography and a curator. Driven by the desire to create a unique art fair, she founded the a ppr oc he salon in 2017, dedicated to artists experimenting with the image. Each year, she co-directs the artistic direction alongside invited curators. Nurturing her support for contemporary creation, in 2023, Emilia Genuardi conceived a ppr oc he, the first fair dedicated to artists not represented in galleries but supported by a community of collectors.

These two independent annual events are produced by the a ccr oc he company, which she founded and has been directing since 2018. In 2023, the a ccr oc he team launched PROCHE, an association dedicated to contemporary artists, promoting and disseminating their works through moral and financial assistance to contemporary art events and projects in France and internationally.

Simultaneously, Emilia regularly participates in juries and portfolio reviews, taught a course on Photography and its market at the Paris College of Arts from 2018 to 2022, and collaborates regularly with the Eyes in Progress training center through various mentoring programs.

Since 2020, she has been the artistic advisor for photography for the Prix Swiss Life à 4 mains, which rewards a project of cross-disciplinary and original creation involving a photographer and a composer. Emilia Genuardi has been a member of the board of directors of the Swiss Life Foundation since 2021.

Emilia Genuardi is the godmother of the 2023 and 2024 editions of Résidence 1+2, a festival of creative residencies combining photography and the sciences.
